Miley Cyrus appears in a teasing performance on Rock Mafia’s “The Big Bang” video.

In the video, the teen stars opposite Gossip Girl actor Kevin Zegers, who in the video believes Cyrus to be his fantasy woman. The short film features Zegers chasing the teen singer through the streets of New York City after she escapes a car crash. He attempts to kiss her and finally does at the end, at which point he realizes she is only in his imagination.

Tim James, who sings vocals on the track, says of the performance: “Kevin and [Miley] both brought their real acting game to it. The chemistry is not by accident. You can feel it, and it’s intense. I’m really proud of both of them.” Cyrus also appears online in a sneak preview of her “Who Owns My Heart” video, which is slated to be released in a few weeks.

Cyrus recently reunited with her Australian boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

Miley is more precious and valuable in our eyes than some pop star that just arrived on the scene because we have lived with her as a young girl on TV for years. And some people are surprised at parent’s reactions to her “Who Owns My Heart” video. Why the reaction? We see her as more than a female body, we see her as a valuable person. If we really viewed all women the way we view Miley, we would be outraged at every provocative scene, just as we would if our daughters were on there. And they are on there! We think its OK to look at them as “meat” and mentally disrespect every part of their body. But they ARE our daughters. They are more valuable than anything and we don’t treat them as we should. We’ve been doing it for years.

No, it’s not. There is no 100% way to censor what our children watch. Things like this Miley video will affect them whether we like it or not. If, by some miracle, they don’t see it, they will be affected by the people who do, in their fashion and in their attitude toward sexuality. The phrase, “If you don’t like it, don’t watch it” just isn’t effective and is downright unreasonable in this day and age.

It’s unreasonable to expect 100% cencorship, especially now with this kind of information all over the internet. These ideas and actions infiltrate our schools and our children’s minds whether we want them to or not. “If you don’t like it, don’t watch it.” – Does not work. It probably never did.

We can’t expect to instill the values we want if those values are undermined by everyone else.

Some say, “Why are these parent groups so shocked and incensed in the first place? This is pop music we are talking about and these are young women coming into the peak of their sexuality. It’s what sells in the American marketplace so it’s a no brainer to me.”

Miley has more of an impact on our teen girls than most other people her age. She is not the only factor by far, but she is still a contributing factor.

So she’s “coming into her sexuality”. Is she doing so properly by looking into a camera while laying on a bed half-clothed? Is this OK? We want our own daughters doing this? I know 17 year old girl that gave naked pictures of herself to her boyfriend, and I’m willing to bet that those pictures are now on the internet somewhere for anyone to see. Is this acceptable?

This doesn’t just affect girls, it affects men too. We’ve broken down the barriers to childhood sexuality and some men find themselves entertaining questions they wouldn’t have entertained before? “Is it really wrong to lust after a child or be sexually active with a child?” Don’t kid yourselves. They ARE thinking it. Hopefully, they don’t act on it, but at least some of their willpower is being broken down by society’s lower and lower standards of what’s acceptable for childhood sexual behavior and what’s OK to watch on TV.

It seems like Miley Cyrus is following in Britney Spears’ foot steps. Her new video, “Can’t Be Tamed”, reminds me of Britney’s video “You Drive Me Crazy” mixed with “Circus” or any of her other risqué videos. I feel that maybe both her and Britney should do a video together some day. While the height of Britney’s career came around the time when she turned 18, do you think it’ll be the same for Miley, who turns 18 on November 23rd? I promised myself I’d keep my comments about the way Miley looks in this video locked away until she was legal, because I fear I’d be locked away. I will say this, the song is interesting itself and she definitely knows how to express herself.

The video starts off with a crowd around a covered cage in what seems to be a museum. The MC for the event announces “the most rarest bird of all, Adis Cyrus”, and the cover is removed revealing Miley Cyrus with wings and a sexy leather outfit(Disclaimer: I’m only saying the outfit is sexy, not the person wearing it.)

Now, Miley goes on to talk about how she’s a bad-ass and does whatever it is that she wants. She then starts donning feathers in her hair at one point. Which bares resemblance to another Pop Icon by the name of Boy George. If you don’t know who he is, consider yourself lucky, although, some of his songs aren’t that bad.

See what I mean? I’m sure if you watch the video you can see how “Cant Be Tamed” is much like many other “sexy” music videos across the industry. I will admit this. She’s doing it well. She’s got the recipe to success and I wish her the best. I just won’t be following close by cheering her on like a groupie that’s all.

Car crashes. Sexy make-out scenes. Ghostly visions. To sum it up, Miley Cyrus and Kevin Zegers got our hearts racing when they appeared as lovers in Rock Mafia’s video for their retro-tinged track “The Big Bang.” And, when MTV News spoke with Tim James, who sings the vocals on the track that his team, Rock Mafia, helped create, he teased there might be a bigger plan in the works.

“They’re actually talking about a movie. I’m excited about that too,” James dished. “There’s a couple of producers putting together story lines and stuff. That’s really exciting.”

And, he says there’s talk of Miley and Kevin starring.

As for the idea that Rock Mafia score the flick — that is, if Hollywood Crush can help broker the deal — James exclaimed, “Now you’re really talking! Now you’re making my day!”

Miley herself offered to appear in the video, which has fans’ tongues wagging, for the production team who worked with her on “Can’t Be Tamed,” “Who Owns My Heart” and “See You Again.”

“The whole idea was to do something different,” James explained. “[The director] had such a cool vision for it … the vision was to let it fly, let the chemistry speak for itself. When we were watching them shoot it, we were like, ‘Wow, this is going to be really cool.’

“Kevin and [Miley] both brought their real acting game to it. … The chemistry is not by accident. You can feel it, and it’s intense,” he continued. “I’m really proud of both of them.”

And, he’s just as proud of the song itself. “I wish they grew on trees,” he joked. “I wish I had 100 of them like it. It’s really a special record. We wanted to do something that was classic, that felt like an old vinyl from the ’70s that nobody ever heard. It was an experiment in that aesthetic.”

As for working with Miley, James has one thing he wants everyone to know: “There’s nothing manufactured with that girl!”

“It’s weird ’cause [the Miley in the video] is like the Miley that I’m used to hanging out with,” he said. “So, it’s cool that this [video] can give her a good look that I think has been underused.

“I’m stoked for her. She comes by the studio a lot and just jams with us — that’s my favorite. She’s so dope. People need to know it. What she can do is cool, so I’m really excited to let people see her artistic side. As she keeps growing, she’s going to do cool stuff. She really is her own person.”

Earlier this week we reported that Liam Hemsworth had been spotted getting cozy with model Yolanda Vendy in Australia, which had us wondering if Miley Cyrus and her man were on the rocks.

And now a source has confirmed that “their on- and off-again relationship is currently off,” but also adding, “you never know with Miley and Liam. They could be back on at some point.”

Another source also confirmed the split, saying, “There was no drama. The relationship just ran its course. They were good friends first and remain friends.”

Wow, tough week, Miley!! Maybe you just need to lay low for the next few weeks….

The cat will be out of the bag on Nov.2nd when Disney releases it newest Hannah Montana DVD titled “Hannah Montana Forever: Who Is Hannah Montana?”

The DVD will contain over 3 hours of Hannah Montana episodes that cover times when Miley revealed her secret. The DVD has episodes like the pilot episode “”Lilly, Do You Want to Know a Secret?”  where she reveals it for the first time to Lilly and also “Achy Jakey Heart” where she lets Jake know.

The DVD, as its final episode, will have a 1-hour special where Miley reveals her secret to the world.
