It may be a combination of it being US thanksgiving, the fact that I watched Eat, Pray, Love last night, 25 days of yoga and thus hip openers or the simple reality that I am content. But, I did a bold thing and actually thanked “that boy” (via text, haha really brave!) for breaking up with me.

In the movie, which I know got bad reviews, but I actually loved. I love any movie that can bring me to tears- questionable rating tactic I know. Especially, considering the result is movies like Miley Cyrus’ Last Song end up in my top 10.

    I digress.

In the movie,   Elizabeth Gilbert wrote a letter to her ex-boyfriend, David, simply stating that they should not be together to avoid the pain of being a part. Wow, I got that. So while, I don’t like how he did it, I forgive “that boy” for being brave enough to let me go. We weren’t happy, I wasn’t living the life I loved or experiencing the dream of romance, I was comfortable.  Comfortable is not fun, it is safe, don’t we want to be amazing and full of life and energy? Comfortable, for me,  was keeping me from the pain and risk of failure of actually going for it all.
