Ashley Hinshaw, the 21-year-old rising star who plays Miley Cyrus’s best friend in the upcoming comedy LOL: Laughing Out Loud, talks about working with Miley Cyrus.

JJ: How does your friendship with Miley on-screen compare off-screen?

AH: I didn’t know Miley before I came onto this project. I was hoping that we’d really have a real connection and we absolutely do. She is so fun to be around it’s easy to forget that she’s 17 sometimes because she’s got this great energy and she’s so dedicated to the project and to making it something new and exciting. We really have gotten to be great, great friends and I think that translates on-screen.

JJ: Do you have a favorite memory off-set between you two?

AH: A couple of days ago in the hair and makeup trailer, we talked for 1.5 hours wondering if there are aliens out in the world. She told me stories of people she knows that think aliens exist. One time, I forgot my line and I looked at her and she brought up the alien comment. It sounded so weird and so out of context but it was so funny.

We don’t have pictures of this, but reports coming in from a live video from Miley’s choreographer and being people tweeting what is going on via Twitter are saying that Liam was seen on the live feed leaving Miley’s House and getting into a car with her.

Her videographer who is doing the live feed from Miley’s house confirmed that it was indeed Liam with Miley. A pap on the scene also confirms it as there are about 20 stationed around her house all the time.

After finishing up her new movie LOL (Laughing out Loud) in Paris last week, teen queen Miley Cyrus was spotted back in Los Angeles today (September 9th) heading out to lunch. Dressed in a stylish grey cardigan, Miley was seen with her little brother Braison Cyrus as they made their way into Panera Bread for a bite to eat.

Miley’s mom to legally change her name

Miley Cyrus’ mother has followed in her famous daughter’s footsteps – she wants to legally change her name.

Cyrus’ country singer dad Billy Ray and mom Leticia named their daughter Destiny Hope when she was born in 1992.

They quickly dubbed her Smiley due to her cheerful nature, which was later shortened to Miley, and the Hannah Montana star officially took on her moniker in 2008.

Now her mother is following suit – Leticia has filed to have her name changed legally to her nickname Tish. In the application papers, she insists she has been known by the moniker “for as long as she can remember”, according to TMZ.com.
